Samuel Beckett's "Dante and the Lobster" must be featured on many reading lists for courses this semester, because I'm getting a remarkable number of google search hits looking for a summary of the story, explanations of the story, and essays on the masterful work.
So, lazy students, all I can say is that you should find your own moral compass and work ethic and read the damn story for yourself and do not lift anything from my blog or any other site to plagiarize in an essay for class.
Plagiarism is bad, m'kay?
Remember as Morrissey so sagely crooned:
"If you must write prose and poems the words you use should be your own, don't plagiarize or take on loan. 'Cause there's always someone, somewhere, with a big nose who knows, who will trip you up and laugh when you fall."

Morrissey does know everything, "I was happy in the haze of a drunken hour, but heaven knows I'm miserable now..."
Too true Mr Mozzer...
Manuel, too true and how appropriate for you. Still going out tonight?
And my nose isn't big but I can sniff out a cheater.
Cheater, thought you meant me there! Yes we went out for a very civilised dinner. Probably the best food I have had in years...more to follow....
Happy Birthday, Manuel. Glad you enjoyed yourself last night!
